Why installation matters more than the brand
A $8 000 heat pump with a wrongly sized buffer tank will short-cycle and wear out in three years. A VRF system with lines brazed without nitrogen will lose its compressor within two seasons. A split with a drain line without a trap will smell of sewage. We install to the manufacturer's instructions and engineering practice — and give a 5-year warranty on our work, which only makes sense when the installation is done right.

Scope of work
What installation includes — by equipment type
Base or brackets with anti-vibration mounts, condensate drain (heated in winter), hydro module, 100–300 L buffer tank, hot water cylinder, pump groups, three-phase supply if needed, heating curve setup, handover.
Line design with length and height-difference calculations, copper to standard, refnets, brazing under nitrogen, pressure testing, deep vacuum, additional charge by line length, condensate pumps, addressing, controllers, central control.
Base, vibration isolation, hydraulics with or without glycol, pump group, tanks, filters, fan coils with control valve sets, drainage, controls, balancing.
Suspension on vibration isolators, insulated ductwork, silencers, dampers, grilles and diffusers, air heater with piping set, control panel, commissioning by airflow.

How installation works
- 01Sizing check
We check whether the chosen equipment suits the property's capacity needs, hydraulics and electrical supply. We often save the client money before the purchase.
- 02Diagram and estimate
Piping/line diagram, bill of materials, labour price. For VRF and heat pumps — a design.
- 03Preparation
Embedded parts, lines, cables, bases — at the rough-in stage or in a finished space with minimal disruption.
- 04Installation and piping
To the manufacturer's instructions: tightening torques, vacuum, nitrogen, slopes, vibration isolation.
- 05Commissioning
Start-up, parameter setup, measurements (pressure, temperatures, flow rates, currents), start-up report, user briefing.
Choosing
Heat pump, VRF or multi-split — what suits your property
Apartment 50–120 m² — a multi-split with 2–4 indoor units for cooling and shoulder-season heating; main heating from a gas boiler. No gas — an air-to-air heat pump (the same splits in heating mode) or a 6–8 kW air-to-water unit with underfloor heating.
House 150–300 m² — a 10–16 kW air-to-water heat pump for underfloor heating, a hot water cylinder and passive cooling in summer; plus 2–3 splits in the bedrooms. With gas available — the heat pump as the main source and the boiler for peaks: in Batumi a heat pump with a COP of 3.5–4 is cheaper than gas for most of the winter under the tiered tariff up to 300 kWh.
Aparthotel, office 300–2 000 m² — VRF: one outdoor unit for 10–60 indoor units, individual control in every room, per-room metering, compact lines. Ventilation — AHUs with heat recovery for corridors and common areas.
Hotel, shopping centre, production site from 2 000 m² — a chiller with fan coils and central air handling units: cheaper per kW at high capacities, easier to maintain, one chiller instead of a dozen outdoor units.
Supply example: a multi-split with 4 indoor units (2 × 9 000, 1 × 12 000 and 1 × 18 000 BTU) and a 42 000 BTU outdoor unit — equipment from the manufacturer 12 450 GEL.

FAQ — Equipment installation and piping
Will you install equipment I bought myself?
Yes. Send us the model before you buy — we will check sizing and compatibility with your property; if it is already bought, we will inspect and install it. We give a 5-year warranty on our work; the manufacturer's warranty applies under the manufacturer's terms.
Does a heat pump work in Batumi in winter?
Yes. At −5…+10 °C modern inverter heat pumps hold a COP of 3–4, meaning 3–4 kW of heat for every 1 kW of electricity. Winters in Adjara are mild — almost ideal conditions. In the mountains (below −10 °C) we plan a backup heat source.
How much does maintenance cost?
Split system cleaning — from 150 GEL, heat pump or VRF servicing — from 300 GEL, AHU filter replacement — from 300 GEL.
Do I need permission for outdoor units on the facade?
In most residential complexes — approval from the management company (location, bracket, drainage). In Batumi's historic centre facades are protected — we hide units in the courtyard or in screened enclosures. We will advise on site.
What about well water — rust, odour?
We do a water analysis and select treatment stages based on it: iron removal, softening, carbon, UV. We do not sell filters without an analysis — that would be money thrown away.
Water pressure on the upper floors is weak — can you help?
Yes: a booster pump station with a pressure tank and VFD, piped with a bypass. For an apartment — a compact pump with a flow switch; for a house or hotel — a twin-pump station with redundancy.
